We’ve never been given a sequel to a main series Pokemon game and I am so happy that we finally are getting one and will be able to see where Gamefreak decides to take the story of Ghetsis, N, The Shadow Triad, etc. The closest thing to a direct sequel before this was in Gold and Silver because you could revisit Kanto and see what had changed. I’m hoping that there’s going to be gym leader rebattles, a small handful of new Pokemon, and a fully functioning battle frontier! *dances*
